Behavior: Capability Statements

The following artifacts define the specific capabilities that different types of systems are expected to have in order to comply with this implementation guide. Systems conforming to this implementation guide are expected to declare conformance to one or more of the following capability statements.

This capability statement describes the interactions that are supported by the Client Registry.

Behavior: Operation Definitions

These are custom operations that can be supported by and/or invoked by systems conforming to this implementation guide.

Operation to Merge Patient Instances	This operation is used to merge Patient instances.
Operation to Retrieve All Identifiers For An Individual	This operation is used to retrieve a list of Patient identifiers representing the same individual.
Operation to link one Client with another.	This operation is used to link two Clients. Linking is an internal procedure where the system applies some confirmation and 'links' resource instances with an internal mechanism. The 'link' is not disclosed or part of any FHIR resource, but a user can confirm the linkage by searching with the identifier list operation.
